Quarter 1 - 2026 Winners
The Dedication to Service Award Committee is honored to recognize Jen, Director of Retail Operations. Jen was nominated for the consistent kindness, empathy, and unwavering dedication she brings to every aspect of her role. As a leader, she sets the tone by leading through example and demonstrating genuine care for both employees and members alike. She is known for treating everyone with respect, making herself available when support is needed, and approaching each interaction with patience, understanding, and a sincere willingness to help.
Jen’s nominations highlighted not only her strong work ethic, but also the meaningful impact her supportive nature has on those around her each day. No matter the request or situation, she is always willing to make time to assist, offer guidance, and ensure others feel heard and valued. Her commitment to service, combined with her thoughtful leadership and dependable presence, continues to strengthen both her team and the member experience across BHCCU. Jen truly embodies the spirit of the Dedication to Service Award!
The Dedication to Service Award Committee is excited to acknowledge Jake, Business Intelligence Analyst in our Transformation Department, as a Q1 2026 Dedication to Service Award winner. Jake exemplifies dedication through his passion for data and his commitment to developing solutions that support coworkers and strengthen member service. While much of his work happens behind the scenes, the tools and insights he provides help staff make better, faster decisions and allow for more time spent creating positive member experiences.
Jake is consistently collaborative, solution-oriented, and willing to share ideas that improve processes across the organization. In addition to his daily contributions, he continues to invest in his own professional growth by pursuing his degree and staying engaged in learning opportunities. His quiet but meaningful impact helps drive the success of both BHCCU employees and the members they serve.
The Dedication to Service Award Committee is glad to recognize Shari, Account Resolution Specialist, as a Q1 2026 Dedication to Service Award winner. With an incredible 31 years of service to the credit union, including the past 13 years as an essential part of the Account Resolution Department, Shari has built a legacy rooted in compassion, commitment, and unwavering care for others. In her work with members, Shari consistently demonstrates empathy and understanding, taking the time to listen to each individual’s circumstances and meet them where they are. She works diligently to help members identify the best possible financial solutions while also remaining mindful of BHCCU’s responsibility and best interests.
That same level of dedication extends far beyond member interactions and into the relationships she builds with her coworkers every day. Shari is known not only for her warmth, kindness, and supportive nature, but also for the genuine care she brings to her team and her work. Her nominations made it clear that her dedication is not simply defined by the many years she has served, but by the heart, effort, and loyalty she pours into each day. Shari’s passion for helping others and her steadfast commitment to BHCCU have made her an invaluable part of the organization for more than three decades.
The Dedication to Service Award Committee is proud to announce Marquia, Assistant Branch Manager at our Janesville Eastside branch on Milwaukee Street, as a Q1 2026 Dedication to Service Award winner. Marquia was nominated by team members who consistently described her as someone who is always willing to help others, whether that be coworkers, members, or anyone needing support throughout the day. She goes above and beyond to teach, share her knowledge, and ensure those around her feel confident in their roles. At the Milwaukee Street branch especially, Marquia is known as a dependable leader for Tellers and Member Advisors alike, always available to answer questions, assist members walking through the door, and jump in on loan applications whenever help is needed. Her extensive experience and strong understanding of both the teller and Member Advisor roles have made her an invaluable resource not only to her own team, but to employees across BHCCU.
Marquia’s nominations also highlighted the daily leadership and mentorship she provides behind the scenes. She routinely reviews calendars to see where she can assist with appointments, offers suggestions before and after member meetings, and helps coworkers think through situations to ensure members are receiving the best possible financial guidance. In addition to serving as one of BHCCU’s top trainers for new Member Advisors, she is widely recognized as a go-to person for questions, concerns, and advice across multiple branches. Coworkers shared that Marquia approaches each day with a smile, a positive attitude, and a readiness to help anyone in need. Her ability to lead by example, support employee growth, and represent BHCCU with excellence makes her a truly deserving recipient of the Dedication to Service Award.
Quarter 4 - 2025 Winners
The Dedication to Service Award Committee recognizes Courtney’s exceptional contributions as Assistant Manager in the Contact Center, we proudly honor her unwavering commitment to excellence. Courtney began her journey with BHCCU in 2017 as a Teller and quickly made her mark through her dedication to outstanding member service. In 2018, she joined the Contact Center team, where she continued to grow and shine as an agent, consistently asking how she could make every member’s experience with BHCCU both informative and exceptional.
In 2022, Courtney stepped into her current role as Assistant Contact Center Manager, where her leadership, professionalism, and lending expertise have been instrumental in driving team success while keeping member service at the forefront of everything she does. No matter the challenge, Courtney approaches each task with determination, follow-through, and a positive attitude that inspires those around her.
From providing general member support to guiding lending experiences and championing financial literacy education, Courtney truly embodies what service excellence means at BHCCU. Her engagement and dedication go above and beyond expectations, strengthening our team and elevating the member experience every day.

The Dedication to Service Award Committee is honoring Amy's unwavering dedication and enthusiasm for serving our members. She has earned this well-deserved recognition. Her commitment shines through in every interaction, reflected not only in her outstanding CSP scores but also in the genuine relationships she builds with our members.
Amy brings more than expertise; she brings heart. Always willing to help in any situation, she is compassionate and kind. Quarter 2 - 2025 Winners
The Dedication to Service Award Committee is excited to acknowledge Nastassja for her hard, dedicated work. The accounting department is so fortunate to have Nastassja as part of their team. Nastassja is always willing to go above and beyond to help BHCCU be successful. She is thoughtful, enthusiastic, and collaborative in her interactions with colleagues. Often, employees reach out to accounting when they are in distress about an error, or an inability to balance.
Nastassja is always calm and composed in her responses and her problem-solving skills are exceptional. As a nominating employee said, “I don’t think there’s ever a conversation with Nastassja where an employee doesn’t leave feeling better or more connected.” Nastassja is detail oriented and her integrity behind the scenes helps maintain the accuracy of our financial records and make sense of the complex nature of our business. She also leads by example and is willing to share her knowledge when training new employees.

The Dedication to Service Award Committee is inspired by Amanda. She was nominated by a member who stated “No matter the request for service, she is ALWAYS helpful. Great attitude and response even when there are several customers.”
Other members have also commented on Amanda’s abilities as a teller. She is fast, thorough and the transaction always goes very smoothly! They appreciate her willingness to help them and her contagious smile. Amanda is always friendly towards everyone that comes in. She is very personable and has a pleasant voice and demeanor. She treats everyone with respect, and it shows.

Her ability to navigate difficult situations with professionalism and compassion is remarkable. Whether speaking over the phone or through digital channels, Natalie consistently demonstrates kindness and a genuine desire to help. She possesses a rare talent for putting herself in the members’ shoes, working tirelessly to find the best solutions.
With a warm and kind demeanor, she goes above and beyond to ensure no member feels uncomfortable, patiently staying with them until their concerns are fully resolved. In every interaction, Natalie is prepared with all the necessary details and takes the time to de-escalate and address concerns effectively.

The Dedication to Service Award Committee is deeply impressed by Amber’s genuine dedication to both our members and her colleagues. She is incredibly deserving of this recognition, consistently going above and beyond to support our members with selflessness and professionalism. Amber’s hard work and positive attitude make her not only a valued team member but also loved by both our membership and coworkers. Her ability to handle any challenge with efficiency and grace is truly admirable.
Amber is a true Subject Matter Expert in her area, particularly when it comes to mortgage member servicing inquiries. Her exceptional problem-solving skills and clear, easy-to-understand explanations have been invaluable to our frontline staff. On top of all this, Amber remains one of the most even keeled and calm individuals, making her a remarkable person to work with.
