Meet Our 2025 Premier Difference Makers
On behalf of our members, BHCCU is proud to share our 2025 Premier “Difference Makers” - GIFTS Men's Shelter and Project 16:49!
 GIFTS Men's Shelter relies on the teachings of Christ and, in partnership with the community, provides resources to bring hope and transformation to the lives of unsheltered men in Rock County and aspires eradicate homelessness.

 Project 16:49 provides support, education, advocacy, and empowerment to Rock County's unaccompanied homeless youth with a vision to supply opportunities that will produce contributing members of our community.

Apply for a $15,000 donation from Blackhawk Community Credit Union in 2026.
BHCCU’s members are passionate about supporting groups that make a difference in our communities! Applications for the $15,000 donations are due by 11/01/25 at 5:00 PM, unfortunately we are not able to accept late applications.
Only 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, 501(c)(4) social welfare organizations, and 501(c)(6) business leagues will be considered for this charitable contribution in the communities we serve. Winners will be chosen by BHCCU Board volunteers and notified by January 2026. Nonprofit will be responsible to pay any taxes and must agree to allow BHCCU to use their organization name and mission in marketing and media announcements.
